Course Description:     
Join The Umbrella Arts Center for a full day workshop with celebrated sculptor and ceramic artist Li Hongwei. Through lecture, slides, demonstration and conversation, Li will lead us through the breadth of his sculptural works. Li will discuss his recent series of crystalline glazed ceramic and stainless steel sculptures, as well as his hand built ceramic self portraiture and installation. He will share with us some of the technical insights and lessons he has learned through working with crystalline glazes.
